TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
The collection of personal data will be limited to those which are considered as necessary to the fulfillment of the controllers’ purposes.

PURPOSES

Collection of data will serve the following purposes:

a) Let the data controllers deal with the data subject’s registration for conference and payment order for the conference fees;

b) Let the data controllers use, for promotional reasons, photographs, audio/video recordings taken during the conference which can be disseminated in the print media, or on our website or social channels, including but not limited to, youtube, linkedin, facebook.

LEGAL BASIS for the PROCESSING

The legal basis for data processing is the consent of the data subject.

NATURE OF PROVISION OF DATA AND CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSAL

As far as point a) above mentioned, the data subject must mandatorily give his/her consent to the use of personal information.

Any failure to provide it, in full, or partially, or untrue or imprecise provision, will lead the controllers to the impossibility of registering the subject on the platform and/or deal with the payment order for the conference chosen.

As far as point b) above mentioned, consent is optional.

DATA PROCESSING METHODS

Data processing may concern all the operations as per section 4, paragraph 1, letter a) Privacy Code and pursuant to section 4 of the Regulation. In any case, principles of lawfulness, fairness, quality, relevance, non – redundancy and transparency will be applied.

The data collected will be treated and stored for the period strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Data will be stored in electronic archives and their treatment will be processed by the Controllers.

DATA TREATMENT AND STORAGE PERIOD

Personal data voluntarily provided by the data subject in order to register for the conference of his/her choice or for payment orders will be treated by the Controllers and stored for a period of 10 years unless a longer period may be required by law.

Conversely, the data as per point b) above mentioned will be treated and stored for a period of five years.

DATA SUBJECTS’ RIGHTS

Data subjects can, at any time, exercise the following rights:

a) have access to their personal data
b) request rectification or erasure of such data or the restriction of the processing concerning them
c) object to the processing
d) to data portability
e) withdraw their consent. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
f) lodge a complaint with the data protection Supervisor (the Privacy Garante)
